The 13th Annual Tommy Bahama Pacific Coast Golf Classic benefiting Olive Crest! Welcome to the 13th Annual Tommy Bahama Pacific Coast Golf Classic. This golf tournament is a premier charity tournament in Orange County. What better way to spend the day golfing at the beautiful oceanfront Monarch Beach Golf Links in Dana Point. Following golf, an Awards and Auction Celebration dinner tops off the evening at the Tommy Bahama Island Grille in Newport Beach. Enjoy fabulous food, great music, and the chance to bid on amazing items at the auction. All the while you know you are helping the kids of Olive Crest. Did you know that in the United States a child is abused every 10 seconds? That in 2008 there were 36,000 reported cases of child abuse in Orange County? These facts are staggering to consider; yet they accurately represent the need for every individual to reach out to those who have been abused as well as help prevent more children from being hurt. Since 1973, Olive Crest has transformed the lives of over 50,000 abused, neglected, and at-risk children and their families. We work tirelessly to meet the individual needs of kids in crisis by providing safe homes, counseling, and education for both youth and parents. Our many innovative programs reflect our conviction that strengthening the family is one of the most powerful ways to help heal children. With unwavering compassion, the Olive Crest family maintains a lifelong commitment to the youth and families we serve even after they have graduated from our programs. Established, proven, and respected, Olive Crest serves nearly 1,000 children and families each day throughout California, Nevada, and the Pacific Northwest. On Monday, May 7th, 2012, Olive Crest and Tommy Bahama will join together again for the 13th Annual Pacific Coast Classic Golf Tournament at beautiful Monarch Beach Golf Course.
We invite you to help us raise funds for the children by donating prizes for our golf ball drop, and for our silent and live auctions, which take place at the awards dinner at the Tommy Bahama Island Grille in Newport Beach immediately following the golf tournament. Last year, we raised over $100,000 for the children of Olive Crest during this incredible event, and we are asking you to help us surpass that donation level this year by contributing an amazing item to our cause. Thanks to volunteers and donors like you, Olive Crest receives the additional support needed to help children who work hard to overcome incredible obstacles, and who need our support.
